"I am reading currently about the aboriginal Bennelong who Arthur Phillip captured to become a liaison with the colonies. Everyone thought he was rad. Then Bennelong escaped, because he didn't want to be no white man's Watson. Then he got rejected by his own people and returned to being a white man's Waston. He lived in Governor Phillip's yard in a hut. Later, he built a hut at the top of the harbour. It was nicer. Bennelong died young, and lonely. Many years later, we built the Opera House where his hut used to be. It was even nicer than the new hut. Cultural imperialism, and alcohol, in a nutshell, is what did it for Bennelong."Quoting Chelsea.

Fox classics
I don't watch much TV, but I really do love Fox Classics. And surprisingly, not just for the content, but their ads are just rad. How fun would it be to create ads for fox classics - watching classic movies and creating montages of the best moments, love it. Of course, they are corny, and yes, they are awesome.

So we’ll go no more a roving
So we'll go no more a roving
so late into the night
Though the heart be still as loving
And the moon be still as bright.
For the sword outwears the sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And Love itself have rest.
Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a roving
By the light of the moon.

Television | The line of beauty
One year ago I watched this fantastic BBC series that my sister Jessica owns on DVD: The Line of Beauty. It's based on the 2004 Booker Prize-winning novel by Alan Hollinghurst. It's the story of love, class, sex and money in the Thatcherite 1980s, complete with gay romance and political scandal.
The soundtrack is also brilliant, which sadly you cannot buy, (I created a playlist for it instead).
